Innovating with Open Data for Regional Development


 

Palacký University, in collaboration with the Olomouc Region and the Municipality of Olomouc, is organizing the second edition of its annual hackathon. This event aims to bring together academics, policymakers, students, and the local tech community to develop innovative solutions using open data from the Olomouc region. The hackathon is part of a broader initiative to foster cooperation between academia and local governance, highlighting how open data can be leveraged for sustainable regional development.
